Gromos is a sound map of plant species that guides the listener through a mixed forest: contemporary jazz, Galician musical tradition and colourful orchestration.
Folk songs and melodies related to Galicia's native vegetation blend the rural with the urban in a series of original compositions by the pianist Abe Rábade. The voice and traditional Galician percussion of one of today's most prestigious talents, Davide Salvado, is the essential lifeblood of this musical proposal.
Gromos is completed with a very diverse timbre and stylistic palette: Jimena Andión's cello leaves a classical expressiveness in the atmosphere; Pablo Martín Caminero's double bass brings flamenco reminiscences and an elegant lyricism; and Naíma Acuña's drums also make the project pass through an urban landscape.
