Activity given by Pablo Casares.
The aim of the activity is to familiarise participants with traditional wicker weaving techniques for making baskets. The activity will be carried out with wicker pith, which facilitates weaving and is therefore more suitable for learning this art. At the end of the activity, the students will have made their own basket with which they can go out to pick mushrooms and will have the necessary knowledge to be able to continue practising this technique with other materials such as raffia or esparto grass.
