Organised by the Cerezales Antonino y Cinia Foundation in collaboration with the ALCON Orienteering Club.

The ALCON Sports Club has been promoting orienteering in the province of León since 1990, through courses and races at different levels, both popular, school and federated. At a competitive level, the club participates in regional and national competitions. It currently competes in the highest category of orienteering for clubs and numerous runners from the club are part of the Spanish National Team.

17.30h. – Orientation Games: Maze

Aimed at children of all ages

Orienteering course in an artificially constructed labyrinth. This is an easy and fun activity for beginners in orienteering. Inside the labyrinth, participants must find the beacons marked on their map in the shortest possible time.

20.00h. – Registration and race registration

Aimed at all audiences. (Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult).

Registration fee: 1 euro

Type of race: In line. Timed start.

In this type of race, the runners start by time, and each one has a map with a different route.

They must complete the course in the order established on their map and finding the controls that correspond to it. In the vicinity of each control there may be others that do not correspond to your route. On each map, next to the order number of the control, you will see the distinctive code of the control (a number starting from 31). For example: 1-34; 2-43; 3-45...

The first runner to reach the finish line with the correct route (the established controls and in the corresponding order) will be the winner of the course.

There are multiple course combinations and all are designed to ensure equality for all runners.
