From the micro to the macro is a workshop proposal that aims to link the sky with the earth, small structures with other larger ones in the Universe. Through different lenses we will contemplate materials from the stars, such as the millimetre-sized structures that some meteorites contain and that conserve the same structure as shooting stars, we will observe the symmetries of the iron structures of meteorites with the nuclear reactions that occur in the terminal phases of some stars, we will learn about minerals such as Jarosite, which chemically link planets such as Earth and Mars, and we will see glasses of siliceous composition inside which contain millimetric bubbles that connect with comets such as Wild-2. Later, at nightfall, using a telescope, we will be able to project some of these structures onto the starry sky. 

This workshop is linked to the Open Sky cycle. It is part of the research process of third teacher.
