Días 25, 27 de 7:30 a 10:00 h
All persons. Accompanied children under 12.
This meeting opens under the guidance of wheat, inviting us to go through the cycle of its cultivation together. We will immerse ourselves in this experience from multiple perspectives: ethnography, sociology, law and the arts will be our tools to understand not only the seed, but also the stories and links that wheat maintains with people and the territory. Our cultivation field becomes a space for work but also for listening and dialogue, where learning flows in all directions. For five days, we will harvest the 2800 square metres of wheat sown in the FCAYC meadows and linked to the Third Master. We will learn from the wheat and with the wheat how to chop the scythe, mow, sheave, net, winnow and store it in the kilmas, taking up popular practices and knowledge that connect the effort with the collective celebration.
18/8 Chopping the scythe. The gesture in threshing. Gabriel Alegre and Francisco Fuertes.
25/8 Mowing and sheering the wheat. Gabriel Alegre and Francisco Fuertes.
26/8 Bread and the common. The stamps of bread. José Luis Calvo and Raquel Prado.
27/8 Mallar el trigo. To throw and to put in kilmas. Gabriel Alegre.
28/8 Stories of bread. Sara García.
These meetings are linked to the cycles of Tillage, Diners and Gesture. They are part of the research process of third teacher.
