Working group
«Commonspoly: future energy» is conceived as a space for co-creation in order to combine the cooperative board game Commonspoly with the issues of the natural environment and renewable energies in the Cantabrian Mountains. The main objective of this process will be to produce a version of the game based on the original, which will allow some of the specificities of the subject matter and the local context to be taken into account. The work process is divided into 3 phases:
1. Sharing: the aim of the first sessions will be to play Commonspoly in order to understand the game well (and have fun!) and to learn about the local context related to environmental issues. This will be the July session.
2. Discovering: during the course of the project we get to know some initiatives that propose ways of sustainable energy production on a small scale.
3. Prototyping. This phase will consist of developing a draft or prototype of the board game created from the experience and reflections of the first session. It will take place between September and October 2022 and will involve two online working sessions.
4. Testing. This will be the presentation and testing of the final game prototype. It will take place in a face-to-face session on 25 January.
With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León. Integrated in the recovery plan and Next Generation funds of the European Union.
