Qui y Jote en la Isla de los Piratas (Qui and Jote on Pirate Island) is a theatrical proposal -for children from 3 to 9 years old-, which brings the imaginative universe of Don Quixote to all audiences in a fun, simple and plastic way.
This is a work that respects Don Quixote, but at the same time is unpublished, because Qui and Jote, as well as Dulcinea... They are penguins...! And the Wizard Freston, he exists!
Jote is a little penguin who, instead of studying, reads books about pirates all the time. One night he dreams he enters the Island of Pirates where he is greeted by Dulcinea -a pirate- and Cide Amete, also a pirate and a crazy narrator.
If Jote wants to become a pirate - as he wishes - he must find a magic sword guarded by the Wise Freston and disenchant Pirate Qui, turned into a statue by the peerless Wizard.
Pirate Island is full of mysteries: ghosts, windmills, witches and spells.
Not forgetting Duck Alonso...
A great adventure for the little ones. An enchanted show for the whole family to enjoy.
