What colours does March have in store for us?

The month of March will be dedicated to obtaining colour through oak apples, the spherical tumour structures common in the oak trees of our territories. These excrescences, rich in tannins, will allow us to obtain interesting colours ranging from browns to bluish blacks that we can keep for the winter months.

Calendar:

March 8: From 16:00 to 18:30

March 10: From 16:00 to 19:00

Adults, aged 16 and over.

From Monday 28 February 2022, at 10:00, on this page.

This activity is part of the Herbarium 2022 cycle, in which, each month, there will be an outing to collect plants from the environment, to work on the extraction of colour from these specimens on a second day.
