Hierba san juanera, hypericum or pericón are some of the popular names by which we usually call the Hypericum perforatum in our territory. A flower whose harvesting is common in our villages for its medicinal applications and which is one of the most commonly collected herbs on this key date in the calendars: the night of St. John’s Eve.
Timing:
June 22, 16:30 to 18:30: field trip, collection, knowledge sharing.
June 23, 16:30 to 19:00: colour extraction, dyeing, modifiers and archiving.
Audience:
Adults, aged 16 and over.

This activity is part of the Herbarium 2022 cycle, in which, each month, there will be an outing to collect plants from the environment, to work on the extraction of colour from these specimens on a second day.
