Jazz quartet lead by young bass player Ismael Alcina, accompanied by three of the most outstanding Jazz musicians in the Iberian peninsula.

BASS LIFE is the result of more than 10 years of professional experience. The project started years ago when Ismael Alcina was about to get a High Degree in Jazz and Modern Music and it turned into his first album. By writing his own songs, he tries to depict the sensations he has felt throughout his personal and professional life. It is an eclectic album that takes the listener on an emotive journey through different cultures and moods.

Since he started playing flamenco and folklore in Cádiz, this bass player has also enjoyed an intense career as a session musician for national pop artists. In Barcelona, he specialises in Jazz and Modern Music with teachers such as Gary Willis and Mario Rossy, and plays in several jazz bands.
