With an endowment of 8,000 euros, to be distributed between production and fees, as well as accommodation and living expenses, this fourth edition of NUDO/KNOT is aimed at any person or group registered in the IAE, regardless of their place of origin or residence, and its theme is water.
The project will count on other resources related to coordination, communication and assembly, as well as the temporary use of the rehearsal rooms, auditorium and other infrastructure of FCAYC.
According to the basesprojects to be submitted in 2024 must have as a theme water. Proposals do not have to fit into a single discipline, but the call is open to possible connections between disciplines such as art, music, literature, philosophy, ecology, linguistics, anthropology, sociology, economics, psychoanalysis, dance, videogames, law, drawing, science, etc.
Among the evaluation criteria They will assess the situated and contextualised nature of the proposal in the rural environment of León; the links with the main lines of research of FCAYC - contemporary culture, Sound and Listening and Ethno-education; the relationship between different fields of knowledge and knowledges or the appropriate structure and approach of the project.
The call for applications will open on 22 July and will remain open until 25 September at 14:00. The resolution will be announced in the week of 21-25 October 2024.
This fourth edition of NUDO/KNOT is the result of the collaboration protocol between Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia and the Instituto Leonés de Cultura de la Diputación provincial de León. Both institutions signed this agreement in 2021 to support creative and research projects linked to the territory.
