Javier Alcalde & Colectivo Jazz'Takí (Isla Bernesga, El Piratilla Records 2009)
The Jazz'Takí Collective starts with a basic core, made up of drums, electric bass, piano and saxophone, all of them recognised instrumentalists, to which different elements can be added, such as the flute, flamenco guitar, marimba, etc.
The repertoire is based almost entirely on the music of the CD “Isla Bernesga”, adding various original themes, belonging to the different artists that make up the group. It is mainly based on jazz, fusion, flamenco, latin, etc. Very varied music, within its field.
As a main function, the group tries to project a compact sound, based in turn on the communication between instrumentalists, the different dynamics, styles and colours that each member brings. A jazz band without stylistic limitations, open-minded and with the clear objective of enduring as a live band and creator of new themes.
