For reasons beyond FCAYC's control, the concert scheduled for 26 October in connection with this residency has been cancelled.
The percussion duo Stèles and the composer Pilar Miralles are part of the third edition of the JME-FCAYC Residency Programme, the result of the collaboration between Juventudes Musicales de España and the Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia. The three musicians will work together on the work of Pilar Miralles. there was no light in that farmhouse, composed specifically within the framework of this residency.
Stèles arose from the initiative of percussionists Guillem Serrano and Ismael Azidane -first prize-winners in the 87th and 103rd edition of the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition, respectively- as a project from which to showcase a joint artistic vision. Pilar Miralles (Almería, 1997) is a composer and sound artist. She has received the first prize in the XXXIV edition of the Premio Jóvenes Compositores Fundación SGAE-CNDM, thanks to which she is currently the Composer-in-Residence of the Red de Músicas de Juventudes Musicales de España.
