Prehistory is one of the most fascinating periods of humanity. During this workshop we will discover how cave societies lived through the practice of different prehistoric techniques. We will investigate the importance of fire in the evolution of mankind and we will make a marrow lamp. We will experiment from the artistic practice with the manipulation of mineral pigments in their natural state and we will recreate the process of the Palaeolithic artist with the airbrush technique. We will learn about the use of raw materials such as sinew rope, vegetable fibre or natural glue to make hunting weapons and we will practise throwing the azagaya by hand or the archery of Neolithic production societies.
This workshop, based on the learning of Prehistoric Technologies, is based on Experimental Archaeology, which promotes the practice of different prehistoric techniques justified through different experimental apparatus.
