Lichens are composite organisms formed by fungi and algae. They are sensitive to environmental disturbances. Thus they allow us to figure out what is happening around us.

In this course, we will delve into these both frequent and unknown organisms. Through them, we will analyze air quality in different locations.

Field trip to Candanedo de Boñar

Field practice to analyze the lichens in Candanedo de Boñar and their condition to evaluate air quality.

 

June 11

Field trip to La Robla.

Field practice to observe lichens in La Robla and their condition. Eventually, we will compare both locations’ air quality.
