FULL GROUP. FULL WAITING LIST
The photosensitive paper is taken in the dark night to the bank of a river. It is immersed in the water and exposed to a quick flash of light. A flash of light is enough to record on the paper what is trapped between the light and the paper for that split second: the flow of the water, a reverberation, murky water, clear water, passing leaves... but there is also a record of other lights of the night. The stars or the moon, or the ambient light of a nearby village. Each image thus inscribes a dual time scale, an expanded time and a frozen instant. A direct trace of the geometric traces of water.
“Suspended go the fugitive waters. Spectator between everything and nothing”.”. Val del Omar
