We will build our own particle detector, discover the amazing world of superconductivity, electromagnetism, light and other physical concepts both theoretically and experimentally in a fun, easy and dynamic way.
Run by Silvia Teixeira
Radiofrequency and Antenna Engineer, passionate about astronomy, fundamental physics and scientific communication. Nowadays, she lives in Madrid and works for Airbus D&S, developing RF components for space applications. In the past, she was a researcher on the field of superconductive radiofrequency and particle acceleration at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). She has published several papers and was invited as a speaker in international conferences. She has also contributed in research projects about high power phenomena mitigation in space equipment at ESA (European Space Agency).
In colaboration with Group of Superconductivity of the Instituto de Ciencias Materiales de Madrid (ICMM-CSIC)
