With Arsenio Terrón and Darío Fernández
Registration includes participation in three trips to three different habitats:
Saturday, October 31st. Pinar de Lillo. From 9:30 to 13:30
In Puebla de Lillo we find the only autochthonous pine forest on the Iberian Peninsula. In it, we will discover an exceptional ecosystem through fungi and we will understand the functioning of forests.
Wednesday, November 4th. Pardomino forest. From 16:30 to 18:30
The Pardomino forest is the ideal place for a mycological walk accompanied by autumn colours in all their splendour. This is thanks to the presence of species such as beech and birch. During the tour, we will focus on the key aspects to identify the main groups of fungi.
Wednesday, November 11. Cerezales del Condado environment. From 16:30 to 18:30
In the immediate surroundings of FCAYC we also enjoy very interesting habitats for fungi. We will visit riverside, melojar and holm oak areas. In them, we will learn the necessary conditions for the appearance of different mushrooms and how to promote their development.
Due to the current health situation, we ask that people interested in these activities respect the restrictions on mobility valid in their places of origin. We remember that the areas in which we are going to develop them are vulnerable due to their demographics and we ask for everyone’s collaboration to safeguard their health.
