Four-day meeting in which we will reflect on the function of ornament as a reflection of tradition, territory, identity and material culture. We will apply reflection to practice through the creation of sculptural pieces, which will take the body as a support and inspiration, and nature and the environment as a material medium.
We will approach the world of moulds, reproducing forms that we observe and collect from nature. And an introduction to working with biomaterials from local products, such as corn, wheat, milk or resin, as well as taking advantage of the organic waste we generate at home.
Finally, we will transform our bodies with the pieces created, mutating and getting closer to the rest of the species with which we share the territory.
Tuesday, 7th June:
Presentation of the activity. Analysis of pieces we bring from home.
Observation and collection walk.
Introduction to moulds. Use of thermoforming machine, alginate and quick silicone.
Wednesday, 8th June:

Thursday, 9th June:

We will start assembling parts.
Friday, 10th June:
We will finish the assembly of the pieces.
