Lorena Lozano will present the project Herbarium.
She is graduated in Biology, specialized in Botany, Universidad de Oviedo, Asturias, Spain (1998) and BHons degree in Fine Art, specialized in Sculpture and Environmental Art, Mackintosh School of Art, Glasgow University, Scotland (2007).
During the conference she will explain how the inhabitants of the area can participate in the creation of a online herbarium with scientific and popular knowledge.
Afterwards we will watch the documentary:

Josep Pàmies is a farmer known by his support to a citizen’s’ initiative against the use of transgenic in Catalonia. Moreover he is member of the association “La dulce revolución” (the Sweet Revolution) from where he promotes the knowing and use of medicinal plants. The film is about these healing plants and about the interests in trying to control them.
