The Duo of Pilar Vázquez and Elisa rapado (mezzo-soprano and piano) present their first album, There is no singing without love, The concert is a recital of songs by Wagner, Mahler and Granados, a production of the Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia.
The album, released by the Stone Records label and on sale from 4 September on Amazon, can also be purchased now, signed by its authors. It is a very careful work of great quality, which includes a booklet in three languages, made up of annotations signed by the two performers, and translations into Spanish of all the German Lieder. This allows a closer approach to the feeling that the authors wanted to capture in compositions such as Im Treibhaus or Liebst du um Schoenheit, always according to Pilar and Elisa's way of feeling them.
It is produced by the Cerezales Antonino y Cinia Foundation through its programme for the normalisation of the work of artists and researchers, and its line of action related to sound and support for young performers.
During the presentation of the album, the duo will be accompanied by some of the people who have made the album possible, such as the vice-president of FCAYC, Rosa Yágüez, Ignacio García Hernando, author of the photographs; Pablo Vega Otero, in charge of the recording, mixing and mastering; and the translator of the booklet into German.
