Documentary on the figure of the artist from Asturias Castorina Fe Francisco. Produced by Jesús Palmero and Amando Casado. Produced by the Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia and co-produced by the City Council of Astorga and Obra Social Caja España-Duero. With music by Senén García and the collaboration of Marifé Santiago, Tadanori Yamaguchi, Amancio González, Roberto Castrillo and Antonio Gamoneda.

Synopsis:

Ah, creator of albs,
she who sculpts the air, sculptor of time,
serene seer of a past without tears.

With these verses, which culminate the poem Castorina, dedicated by Antonio Gamoneda to the sculptor from Astorga, we begin an immersion into the vital feeling that inspired the work of this singular woman. Senén García's music, created from the direct contact that the composer experiences with Castorina's pictorial and sculptural work, serves in the film as an impalpable mother, accompanying the spectator on a journey where the feeling and total dedication to the creative act come to the surface. The sculptors Tadanori Yamaguchi and Amancio González mimic Castorina's formal discourse in the public execution of two of her works. At the same time, the poet Marifé Santiago dissects the profound latent femininity of a sculptor who has delved into the concept of motherhood throughout her career.
The vital burden of death is combated by remembrance in a reworking of memory as a creative stimulus, placing Castorina Francisco in a territory of overwhelming authenticity.
