Audiovisual that shows the change in roles that women in rural areas have undergone. It analyses the traditional role of women and how gender roles are socially transmitted from childhood to adulthood.
The documentary also shows how women have been questioning some of these roles in relation to themselves, helped by studies, work, training, family, social participation...
Mª Avelina Vidal and Esther López, The vice-president and member of Amulemer (Association of rural women from León), will be the guests at the subsequent discussion to the projection.
The Association was created in 2006 to bring together the demands, concerns and needs of rural women in the province of León.
Its objective is to work for the rural women of León and its projects are aimed at training, employment integration and the fight for equality. They carry out important informative and advisory work.
