"Earth and water" explores the relationship between the earth, as a raw material characteristic of the territory, and ceramic production in the complete crop cycle. The sequence begins with the collection and preparation of native soil and the production of clay, which will be used in three of the stages that outline a circular path in the life of the plants: sowing, watering and seed storage. The activity of the vegetable garden is hybridised here with the cultural dimension of the pottery tradition in the handmade manufacture of utilitarian objects. The dynamics of the proposed creative process stimulates an eco-social vision in the way of understanding food and the landscape we inhabit. The workshop will be given by three members of the Néxodos collective, Mercedes Rodríguez, Bettina Geisselmann and José Ignacio Gil, who are developing the Re_hacer project, a project that reclaims pottery through contemporary creation.

This workshop links the cycles Labranzas and Gea. It is part of the research process of third teacher.
