Summer Workshops - Workshop

Workshop: Explorers of sound. The construction of invisible spaces.

Past event
11 Jul 2011 - 15 Jul 2011
FCAYC

Aimed at children between 8 and 12 years old.
Taught by María Andueza, PhD in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has completed a thesis on sound installations in public space. She is currently a lecturer at the Universidad Europea de Madrid and part of the Reina Sofía Museum Radio (RRS) team.

The workshop is aimed at encouraging, through fun, sensitivity to sound and the perception of the temporal phenomenon linked to space and landscape. The different activities will be aimed at children discovering their own abilities to recognise the information provided by sound and the multitude of creative possibilities it offers. We will draw with sound, play with sound, walk with sound, think with sound... we will have fun with sound!

The workshop aims to explore creatively, with the tools at our disposal, the environment of Cerezales. Listening, proposing, constructing and composing will be just some of the skills put into play.
