Estación verano 2025 brings together neighbours, artists, educators, musicians and artisans to learn and enjoy through art, play and the encounter between generations.

Contemporary culture

Cultural studies and practices are one of FCAYC's main fields of research. Through all kinds of formats - projects, publications, seminars, fieldwork and open processes without a closed definition - we address the creation of meanings, narratives and images by combining disciplines and sciences in an interdisciplinary way. We situate ourselves in contemporaneity as a starting point that allows us to observe how these images and meanings are defined; and how different temporalities overlap and intersect in these processes in a non-linear way.

Sound and listening

Listening is part of a way of being in the world. Understanding this action as fundamental in the relations that are generated in the territory entails paying attention to sound in all its forms. Records that pass through music in different variants, contemporary creative practices in dialogue with the territory or expanded listening.

Tropos

A sound and performing arts festival that aims to create a listening atmosphere at sunset.
