Taughted by Clara Boj and Diego Díaz (lalalab.org)
They work together since year 2000. Their work combines, art, science and technology concepts and tools to create interactive experiences. They combine their artistic carrier with a wide research in interactive environment design, urban strategies and networked experiences on the city. In their pieces they use multimedia technologies to build new devices mixing physical and digital public space, trying to establish continuity between olds and news social interaction forms. At present time they enjoy the Alfons Roig art grant to continue their research at Interface Culture Lab at Linz University.
The streets where we live are filled with echoes; stories of past events, real stories or fictions travelling by word of mouth as temporal traces of the life in the area.
In this workshop we will explore Cerezales’ echoes in order to create a recreational filming experience. Stories will be linked to the space and every sequence will be geographically located in the same place where it actually took place.
Using mobile phones and adapting film language to this media’s characteristics, we will create an audiovisual experience in which the story will build up itself depending on the journey made by the participants.
To take part in the workshop, please fill in the Registration Form.
