During 2012’s workshop we tried avoid designing architecture thinking on what we like or what we would like to create, and we learnt how to respect the environment, read the local climate and study traditional materials and shapes.
In 2013’s edition we kept designing for others and not for ourselves, having Foundation’s cows and ox as clients. We learnt how to draw and 3D model a cowshed, trying hard not to forget any space, any detail such as roofs or water troughs.
This third workshop will end the trilogy. During a week we will design for Cerezales del Condado, but according to two different but complementary extents.
On the one hand, we will meddle with houses and other private areas. We will 3D model buildings and communicate this productions online, uploading them on Google Earth.
On the other hand, we will locate public spaces or systems that need to be improved: Does the football field need stands? Does the square need more shade areas for summertime? Is it needed to channel more water canals? Do we need to design a bike rack?
