Taught by Dr. Federico Bernaldo de Quiros Guidotti, Dr. Ana Neira Campos, lecturers at the University of León and Dr. Raquel Martínez Peñín, professional archaeologist.
The aim of this workshop is to introduce children to the world of prehistory through a series of activities that combine fun and educational aspects.
For this edition, the aspects to be worked on will revolve around the following:
-Archaeological excavation: Participants will carry out an archaeological excavation that will allow them to learn how information is recovered and how the data obtained is interpreted in order to understand ways of life in prehistoric times.
-Pottery: Participants will make earthenware vessels using the same techniques that were used in the manufacture of the first pots made by mankind.
On 6 July, the participants of this workshop will visit the Castro de Coaña (Asturias).
