Processing is an open source software and a programming language developed for digital creation: images, web and desktop applications, tangible interfaces, installations with sensors or computer vision’s techniques, rapid prototyping and 3D printing, Android applications, etc.
The workshop will be an introduction to creative programming and the coding techniques that are addressed to objects, especially those algorithms of formal generation. The goal is to provide a critical background that allows the student to independently learn this environment in depth. Tools and techniques for a collaborative work will be presented and a final “exercise” to share the results in a team installation of video-mapping will be suggested.
No background knowledge required.
