The fantastic factory

In this workshop we propose to invent and illustrate stories. To do so, we will use the master Gianni Rodari, Italian writer and educator, and his Grammar of fantasy, a book full of techniques and tricks for constructing narratives. We will follow his advice and teachings and illustrate the result by trying out different tools. It will be the moment to stain ourselves in order to achieve plastic expression.
We look forward to seeing you all together to set up La Fábrica Fantástica, the place where stories are made using creativity and imagination.

Laura G Bécares holds a degree in Fine Arts from the UPV/EHU and a diploma in Art Therapy. Since 2013 she has been fully dedicated to the world of editorial illustration for children and young people, as well as to non-formal education with children through art workshops.

Migüel holds a diploma in illustration from the European Institute of Design in Turin. Since 2008 he has been working as a freelance illustrator specialising in European projects for children and young people.
