The pedals of a bicycle making rhythm. Greeting voices telling stories. The baker's van singing before reaching the square. Birds at noon, cicadas in the afternoon and crickets at night. An open window. A fork beating an egg. Water from a pipe.
There are many sounds that are only there during the summer and others that are always there - let's listen to them all and play with them!
On the first day we will listen to everything that sounds around us. We will hunt for hidden sounds and look for new sounds.
On the second day we will make an orchestra with whatever we can think of to bring from home. We will improvise and invent melodies.
On the third day we will play with rhythm in the form of machines, steps, jumps, words and objects.
On the fourth day we will tell a story with everything we have heard. An invented tale with its own soundtrack, created with all the sounds of summer.
