With winter setting in and the waning of the fourth quarter in February, it is a good time to prune our fruit trees. Pruning is a technique that encourages vigorous tree growth and in winter allows the tree to heal more easily before spring bud break. In this workshop the apple and pear trees of FCAYC will serve as a guide to understand this practice.
