For yet another season, we are opening this meeting place for the exchange of seeds and knowledge. A space that seeks to counteract the loss of biodiversity of local varieties and that tends to stimulate their diverse uses for both farmers and communities.
These open meetings continue to nurture the network of seed guardians, committed to the conservation and multiplication of varieties in order to keep them alive in the territory and improve their quality.
The FCAYC seed bank conserves seeds deposited by the network but also, as a guardian, reproduces and multiplies varieties such as pinto beans, various types of maize and wild dye plants.
