Emilia and Pablo combine their experience in the performing arts with a unique blend of Latin American folklore and flamenco. June 2021 saw the release of their first album, Territory of Delirium, produced by Diego Galaz and edited by Madame Vodevil.
The album features the collaboration of Niño de Elche, the Argentinian Martin Bruhn and Fetén Fetén Fetén's own Diego Galaz. Territory of Delirium is a self-absorbed, brave debut, absolutely far removed from fashions and predefined paths. In their particular sanctuary are the greats of Andean folklore and its geographical surroundings, in a list in which they never forget to mention Mercedes Sosa, Violeta Parra, Quilapayún, Los Jaivas, Caetano Veloso or the old Venezuelan Simón Díaz. But the formulation of all these learnings is very free, at times almost telluric. This is a complex debut, because of its evident allergy to singable chorus, accelerated rhythm or exuberant instrumentation. But it is admirable that the tandem knows, from their first steps, how to place silence in such a preponderant space. Surprise. The mystery of what only comes to be suggested.
