Three months where we will get closer to the animal, look at the sky through workshops and activities of various kinds. We will also listen to and watch scenic performances, which will be more focused on music.

Cultural studies and practices are one of FCAYC's main fields of research. Through all kinds of formats - projects, publications, seminars, fieldwork and open processes without a closed definition - we address the creation of meanings, narratives and images by combining disciplines and sciences in an interdisciplinary way. We situate ourselves in contemporaneity as a starting point that allows us to observe how these images and meanings are defined; and how different temporalities overlap and intersect in these processes in a non-linear way.

A visit with María Ptqk and Irene Ergueta to the current exhibition “Zoofuturism”.

The exhibition “Zoofuturism” select the work of the artistic duo Art Orienté Objet, pioneers of the so-called “animal turn” in art. During the visit, we will delve into how these artists propose a future in which the more-than-human takes centre stage. The exhibition features installation, performance, video, and photography.

The guided tour with the curators will allow us to unravel how these works dialogue with each other to question our relationship with animals, opening up a range of possibilities for us to ask how we want this bond to evolve in the near future.
