The artist's book is neither an art book nor a book about art. The artist's book is a work of art in itself. The author's intervention affects the archetype of the book, its very nature as an object. We thus find unique and reproduced books, handmade, generated by electronic procedures, in boxes, folding, rolled up...; constructed with an enormous variety of techniques and supports, and where scenography, painting, drawing, literature..., are called upon to play their role. The artist's book can integrate almost all the arts, and this is the main door through which the imagination is invited.
The workshop proposes various types of activities, including theoretical and practical exercises, which will be carried out during the workshop days, also delving into the more playful and free part of the construction of the artist's book.
