Nubla 2019. Ecology at atmospheric level
This year we start a new cycle, dedicated to atmospheric phenomena.
Javier Martínez de Orueta is the guide for a series of sessions in which we will see how the atmosphere works and what role it plays in our climate and our lives. Is climate and weather the same thing? What application does cloud observation have in people's daily lives? How are storms generated and how do they develop? What are their consequences? Are there more adverse meteorological phenomena? In television weather programmes we see some maps that seem difficult to interpret; we will learn some keys to interpret them. What is the climate of Asturias and León like? Can it influence the distribution of vegetation? Meteorology may seem a difficult science, but throughout this cycle we will learn basic concepts to make it accessible to everyone.
