Pablo Castro and Talía Ramos Martinez are Dúo Klier.
Born in León, they both started their musical career at an early age with private lessons first and then moved on to the Professional Music Conservatory in León. Later, they entered in the Conservatorio Superior de Música Eduardo Martínez Torner in Oviedo where they achieved the Advanced Degree in Violin under the tutelage of Professor D.José Ramón Hevia.
Since their beginnings they were part of music ensembles and orchestras such as the Musical Youth Orchestra of University of León, Chamber Orchestra of Ponferrada, Millenium Orchestra in Gijón, Teatro Liceo of Barcelona orchestra, International Youth Orchestra of Oviedo (JOICO) and Youth Symphonic orchestra of Asturias (JOSPA). Since 2006, they have been members of the Symphonic Orchestra Odón Alonso in León.
In 2004 they were part of Mixture quartet with which they performed in several occasions in Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla y León and participated in an album recording. In 2005 they founded Dúo Klier with the aim of studying the repertoire for two violins in depth.
They have attended advanced courses with teachers Héctor Corpus, Gonçal Comellas, José Ramón Hevia, Aitor Hevia, Lander Etxebarria and Natalia Lomeiko among others. Currently, they are finishing their education with Héctor Corpus, who is the first violin of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias.
Since 2009 they have worked as teachers in Contrapunto music school in León and the Escuela Municipal de Música Virgen del Camino.
