Eduardo Castillo is a Madrid-based architect and researcher. His architectural education was developed through a collaboration between the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM), where he has been a professor of Architectural Design since 2015 and a researcher in the PROLab group and the educational Agglutinative Design Services innovation group.
His interdisciplinary architectural practice is framed within platforms such as the Mutant Institute of Environmental Narratives in Matadero Madrid or The Terraforming Program, a speculative urbanism think-tank based at the Strelka Institute in Moscow, where the implications of ecosystem transformation and the ecological consequences of the Anthropocene on a global scale are discussed.
