Fernando Gutiérrez
Fernando Gutiérrez has developed most of his artistic work on pictorial basis. During the last years, he has been focused on drawing and investigated different techniques and procedures, which have inspired him to use collage as a work process and graphic interventions, animation or interactive animation as the most common formats.
His work features fragmented narratives developed by performing on instant consumption images or those obtained from different archives. Mental landscapes, metamorphosis or oneiric identities between innocence and perversion are some of the most frequent topics in his career. Instinctively, the former are revealed in his works as subjective poetry with an emotional, sensitive and sometimes ludic nature.
