Ismael Aveleira (San Andrés del Rabanedo, León, Spain, 1978).
BA in Art History at Universidad de León and audiovisual producer.
Awarded by Instituto Leonés de Cultura with the Grant for Young Creators in the category of Research of Popular Cultures, he has also held grants by Universidad de León. He has collaborated in workshops with other artists such as Chus Domínguez, Rogelio López Cuenca or Daniel Andújar.
Since then, he works as a teacher and as an editor for different companies and institutions, and he carries out personal works around education, productions or collaborative creation.
In 2012, he starts collaborating with the Foundation Cerezales Antonino y Cinia as consultant and teacher, and in the project Territorio Archivo, where he has investigated the memory of the Spanish village Lugán.
