Javier Rubén Castrosín Prada

Forestry Engineer with a specialty in the environment from the Lugo Polytechnic School of the University of Santiago de Compostela, he completed his final degree project at the University of New Brunswick (Canada). He also has a Technical Forest Engineering with a specialty in forestry operations from the Higher and Technical School of Agrarian Engineering of the University of León (Ponferrada Campus). He works as a technician at the Ciudad de la Energía Foundation (CIUDEN) where he has developed work in the areas of territorial development and participated in projects of local entities that favor the transition to a low-carbon economy, as well as in unique savings and efficiency projects energy, sustainable urban mobility and use of renewable energies. He currently carries out tasks related to the analysis, evaluation and search for alternatives in areas degraded by coal mining for the realization of restoration projects.
