María Sánchez (Córdoba 1989) is a field veterinarian. Her poems have been published in magazines and anthologies such as Bets (La Bella Varsovia, 2014). She regularly collaborates in digital and print media on literature, feminism, extensive livestock and rural culture. She coordinates the project The essence of the text, in which she invites reflection on the creative process. She collaborates with Carne Cruda Radio with the Field Notes section, a sound diary full of stories, people and animals that inhabit and take care of our rural environment. Her poems have been translated into French, Portuguese and English. Field Notebook (La Bella Varsovia, 2017) is her first poetry collection. Land of women, an intimate and familiar look at the rural world, is her latest book, an essay on women and rural areas (Seix barral, 2019).
