Mateo Mena (Santiago de Compostela, 1983) is a sound artist and a designer of electronic musical instruments. He has widened his academic education with artists like Nicolas Collins, Juan Matos Capote or Peter Bosch. In 2015 he presented his latest electronic instrument “The Hypercubes” at Maker Faires in Roma, Berlín, Santiago de Compostela and Lisboa, where he was awarded “Maker of merit” for the best project in the category of Electronics. Currently, he is working on different projects of art and science divulgation, such as the “Music Workshop of Electronic Music with Everyday Life Materials”, which has led him to visit more than 30 schools in Galicia.
