Xan Campos Trío
Xan Campos Trio is energy and jazz.
After 8 years together on stage, and outside it, the band does not use labels nor classify the variety of jazz they play. They simply try to experiment and enjoy music with their public, without any fear of breaking rules or prejudices.
Their new album, Ectropía, deeps in their peculiar sound, where we can find jazz, alternative rock, classical music, progressive rock and electronic music.
Xan Campos is part of the reserve of musicians of the Permanent Jazz Seminar of Pontevedra, and of Musikene (Donostia, Spain) and he is currently attending European Jazz Master.
He does not refuse jazz foundations but he follows a fresh and modern style, influenced by what is happening around him and by cutting-edge music. He is convinced jazz does not belong to specialised venues.
