Yayo Herrero (Madrid 1965) is an Anthropologist, Social Educator and Agricultural Technical Engineer. She develops her work as a professor-collaborator of the Unesco Chair of Environmental Education and Sustainable Development at the UNED. She is a founding member of Garúa S. Coop. Mad, and co-author of more than twenty books related to social ecology and numerous articles. She is also a member of the editorial board of Hegoa, and was the Confederal Coordinator of Ecologists in Action between 2005 and 2014.
