Ana Frechilla

Ana Frechilla (Palencia, 1983) trained in photography at the EASD Pablo Picasso (A Coruña), at EFTI (Madrid) and in Berlin as assistant to the artist Andrea Sunder-Plassmann. She later graduated in Art History from the University of Valladolid. She is currently a doctoral student in aesthetics at the University of Salamanca and is doing a master's degree in primatology at the University of Girona. Her work focuses on the relationships that humans have with the rest of biodiversity. He has exhibited at the Ateneo Español in Mexico City, the Spanish Pavilion in Acapulco, the National Gallery of Costa Rica, Das Weisse Haus in Vienna, Fundación Cerezales Antonino y Cinia, CCCC Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporánea in Valencia, Casa Encendida in Madrid, MUSAC in León, Espacio Tangente in Burgos, Espacio Nexo990 among others. His work has been awarded the OCEMX, Fundación Villalar and Laboratorio987 MUSAC grants.
