Chus Domínguez

Chus Domínguez (León, 1967).

An audiovisual producer, he works with elements taken directly from reality to construct narratives that are somewhere between documentary, experimental and poetic, always in search of new ways of representing reality.

His video creations and film pieces have been selected for international festivals such as Oberhausen, Vila do Conde, Tampere, IndieLisboa, Cinespaña, Mediawave, Zinebi, Seminci, Huesca, Zemos 98, L'Alternativa, etc., and have been screened in forums such as CGAI, MUSAC, Reina Sofía, Off Limits, Artium and channels such as RTVE or Arte.

He regularly collaborates in audiovisual creation for stage creations, with choreographers such as Elena Córdoba, Mónica Valenciano and Elena Alonso, with the company Societat Doctor Alonso, with the musician and performer Nilo Gallego, with the playwright Rodrigo García and La Carnicería Teatro, etc.

In February 2011, the space on culture and contemporary art METRÓPOLIS (La 2 de TVE) dedicated a monographic programme to him.
