Clara Levy

Clara Levy is a French violinist based in Brussels since 2011.

He works especially in the field of contemporary/experimental music. He is a violinist in the French ensemble Hanatsu Miroir and collaborates regularly with other European ensembles such as Ictus, Contemporary Insights, Ensemble 21, Ensemble Hopper, and with composers such as Fritz Hauser, Erika Vega, Jürg Frey, Michael Grebil-Liber, Kaija Saariaho, Michael Beil, Klaus Lang, Szymon Brzoska, Karl Naegelen...

She is passionate about contemporary dance and performance and has had the opportunity to perform with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and to work with choreographers and set designers such as Vera Tussing and Jan Rohwedder.

He is currently touring with his latest solo project 13 visions, a fictional encounter between Pauline Oliveros and Hildegard Von Bingen. It will be published in 2022 by Discreet editions.
He performs regularly in Belgium and all over the world (Austin - Texas, Festival Superspectives - Lyon, OzAsia Festival - Adelaide, Théâtre de la Monnaie - Bruxelles, De Bijloke - Gand, Café-Oto - London, Opéra de Lille, Philharmonie du Luxembourg, Bayreuth Festival, Xornadas de Musica Contemporanea - Santiago de Compostella)...

From 2022 he will curate the SMOG concert programme with Vera Cavallin and Yann Leguay.
